UPDATE: Death Notice: Wilbur Glenn Ambs, 87, of Terre Haute, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Regional Hospital.  Services were Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Cox Funeral Home in Jasonville, with Pastor Nancy Followell officiating.  Interment at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, indiana. 

UPDATE: Death Notice:William Joseph Hayden, 76, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at Sullivan County Community Hospital, Sullivan, Indiana.  Cremation is scheduled.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Arrangements Newkirk's Funeral Home in Dugger, Indiana.  

UPDATE: Death Notice: Dorothy G. Kennett, 87, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away Friday, November 21, 2014 in St. Vincent Clay Hospital in Brazil, Indiana.  Arrangements entrusted to Michael Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian st., Jasonville, with visitation 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, November 25 at the funeral home.  Services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Sam Bush officiating.  Interment at K of P Cemetery in Hymera, Indiana.

UPDATE: Death Notice - Herman "Huck" Stienstra, 86, of Clay City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2014 at his residence.   A memorial service was conducted on Monday, November 17 at 6 p.m. at Faith Southern Baptist Church, Clay City, Indiana

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
