UPDATE: Death Notice: David W. Griffith, 63, of Bloomington, formerly of Jasonville and Linton, passed away December 13, 2014 in Bloomington, Indiana.   Visitation at Welch & Cornett Funeral Home in Linton, Thursday 4 - 7 p.m. and Friday from 12 noon until time of service, 1:00 p.m. December 19, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial at Fairview Cemetery in Linton.   Online condolences can be sent at

UPDATE: Death Notice: Dillon Matthew Jenkins, 21, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away December 14, 2014 in Greene County, Indiana.  Arrangements entrusted to Michael Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian Street, Jasonville, with Services Friday, December 19, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. , with Pastor Mark Messmer officiating. Visitation Thursday 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. , and Friday 9 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Interment  at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, Indiana.

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
