Obituaries: Paul W. Eikelman, 80 of Seymour, formerly of Terre Haute and Jasonville; Mary Roselyn Shacklett, 76, of Jasonville.

UPDATE: Death Notice: Charles Alan Disney, 64, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away October 5, 2015 in Terre Haute Regional Hospital.  Visitation will be from 5 - 8 p.m. Thursday, October 8, at Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian Street, Jasonville. Funeral Services will be at at 8 p.m.Thursday, October 8, 2015 at the funeral home, with Pastor Darren Sluder officiating. Cremation will follow.

UPDATE: Death Notice:  Margaret Kathryn "Kate" Green, 86, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 7, 2015, in Shakamak Good Samaritan Center.  Arrangements are entrusted to Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian Street, Jasonville, with visitation scheduled from 5- 8 p.m. Saturday, October 10, and 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. service time Sunday at the funeral home.   Funeral Services are 1 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2015 at the funeral home, with Pastor Mark Messmer and Pastor Sam Bush officiating.  Interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery in Midland, Indiana. Contributions may be made in memory of Kate to Shakamak Good Samaritan Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
