UPDATE: Death Notice: Garry M. Dean, 61, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away May 22, 2016 at Sullivan County Community Hospital in Sullivan, Indiana.  Arrangements are by Michael W. Cox, Cox Funeral Home, 218 S. Meridian Street, Jasonville, with Visitation from 2 p.m until 4 p.m. , Friday, May 27, 2016 at the funeral home, with Services beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, May 27 at the Cox Funeral Home.  Interment will be at Peavey Cemetery in Howesville, Indiana.

UPDATE: Death Notice: Kaisen Ray Holcomb, 3 months old, of Jasonville, Indiana, passed away May 20, 2016 at Sullivan Community Hospital in Sullivan, Indiana.Visitation will be 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at the Jasonville Assembly of God Church in Jasonville.  Funeral Service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Church, Bro. Joseph Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, in Linton.   Kaisen Ray Holcomb is the son of Tim and Hannah (Jones) Holcomb.  Arrangements entrusted to James W. Meng, Jr. and the Anderson-Poindexter Memory Chapel in Linton.

The beauty of Shakamak State Park.  This is Lake Kickapoo,one of 3 lakes in the park.  The park is located a mile or so from Jasonville, and has around 300,000 visitors each year.
